Social Network Marketing - Turning Relationships into Profits

Social network marketing is an ideal way of earning revenue by developing relationship. So first decide whether you want to use social networks to marketing your business or not. But before you work out a plan, it is very important to understand the new medium you will be engaging in. Since this approach is different, the behavior needs to be different than our old conventional marketing behaviors.

In those typical marketing technique, marketer needed to interrupt and shout and make people aware of the ins and outs of the products. But now things have changed drastically. A decade back, Television commercials used to be too loud to grab the consideration and interrupt in what we were doing. But this kind of behavior is no longer necessary now days. Your society wants real talk from you. Your society expects valuable information. They do not want to be shouted at as it used to be earlier. Today they aim to focus on new marketing efforts and marketing opportunities.

Encouraging Your consumer to Take Action

Social media encourages your consumers to take action the moment you establishes a relationship. Have you heard of the term “sales funnel”. If not, than think of the shape of a funnel. At the wide top of the funnel are the category of people who just come in contact with you and your product you offer. They are mildly interested. They sign up in your email opt-in list or become your friend on Face book. Every time you entertain these individuals, they get to know you a little better. If they still continue to be interested, they move further into the sales funnel, until they are willing to buy. Some customers buy instantly. While some need a little more time.

Think of your purchasing habits. Sometimes you know exactly what you want while taking a buying decision and buy it instantly. While on the other hand at times you need to make several decisions while buying something else. The product and the company selling the product help in developing a relationship. You step further into the funnel once the consumer do that.

However there are some people who do not move through your funnel. In fact, that is what you want from your customer, because you don’t want them to leave because this means that they are no longer interested in buying. They separate those who are still interested. Those who are still interested, continues to remain in the funnel. So now you are now only interacting with members of your society who are interested in you. Every person around is not interested in your niche. The funnel allows you to sort those who are concerned from those who are not. This process brings leads to your society, potential customers for your product. Now you have a society of potential customers involved in your online networking activities. This process of building relationships and bringing consumers makes it easier for your community to get into the funnel.

A buyer will only buy under the following situation: (1) Know you (2) Like you and (3) Trust you. One most important thing is that your buyers must meet you on the networks and you must interact with them so they get to know you. And once they interact with you, they begin to trust you. So just interact with them and be yourself. And you don't even have to make sales pitches all the time. In fact, it's better if you do so occasionally. All you need to do is to invite people to your community and try to know them well. That's it!

Those people are your potential customers for your business. You can access these buyers and pump up profits from them!
